Tanasee Creek LakeACTIVELast Update: 6/8/2010 3:45:03 PM Based on the need to dewater the penstock for inspection, Duke Energy has partially opened a gate at Tanasee/Tennessee Creek Dam to facilitate lowering the lake level and water movement through the East Fork of the Tuckasegee River. Those living along lakes, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas need to pay special attention to changing weather conditions and take any necessary precautions.
